How many bottles does it really hold, and what size bottles fit best?

The unit is rated for 46 standard 750 mL Bordeaux-style bottles (about 2.95 in diameter). If your bottles are larger (e.g. magnums, champagne, or oversized Bordeauxs), you may need to remove or adjust shelves, which can reduce the effective capacity.

What are the temperature zones, and how are they controlled?

It’s a dual-zone model. The upper zone covers a cooler range (about 41–54 °F or ~5–12 °C), suitable for whites, rosés, or sparkling wines. The lower zone is warmer (approx. 54–68 °F or ~12–20 °C), ideal for reds.
You can adjust both zones independently through digital controls (often a touch panel).

Can I build this into cabinetry, and what ventilation / clearance do I need?

Yes — it can function as a built-in (under-counter) unit or freestanding.

However, it requires front-venting (i.e., heat must escape from the front), so you cannot fully enclose the front.

Also, allow for clearance at the top, sides, and rear (per the installation guide) to ensure proper airflow and cooling efficiency.

Warranty Information
